This class will have its participants selecting a favorite piece of music and or sounds and create a visual work. Your interpretations are open and have no limitations in the use of materials or the visual work itself.
While working in class you may use your smart phone & headset to listen to your
selections as you work. At the end of the second class we will take time to gather and listen to a brief section of your favorites and talk.
Participants will bring personal materials to work with as they interpret their selections
I will supply paper, paint, oil pastels, magazine clippings, found objects, etc.
Music has a deep emotional connection to our being that is readily accessible. It can
be colorful, wonderful, abrasive as well as capsulate moments in time. It will be considerably interesting to have music or sounds translated into visual images.
Let’s stay open to the possibilities and discoveries that continue to make life’s manifestations unlimited.
