Learn the art of Nunofelting and Indigo dye with fiber artist Reem Khalil~class registration closed, class filled to capacity, email loca@locaarts.org to be placed on a wait list.

During the first class Reem will teach the art of merging silk and wool together in an artistic composition. Nunofelting incorporates several layers of loose fibers combined to build up color, texture and design elements into a finished piece.

In the second class students will learn how to make Organic Indigo dye vat and original patterns using the ancient technique Shibori. In this workshop, students will learn the fundamentals of Shibori pattern making and how to create a variety of patterns.

This class is held on two consecutive Wednesdays in the Art Room of the Susi Q.

This Class is part of LOCA’s Senior Art Escapes program at the Susi Q. Enrollment is limited to students 50 yrs and up.
