Laguna Beach Landscapes ~ All day adult in studio workshop

Join award winning LPAPA Signature Artist Michael Obermeyer in Laguna Beach for a 1-day Seascapes indoor/in-studio adult painting workshop designed to teach composition, design, seeing and simplifying shapes, identifying values, color, harmony, and the basic fundamentals of painting. Michael will also focus on working quickly, blocking-in and simplifying shapes, and knowing when to stop!
Working from photo reference that Michael will provide, students will compose and execute their own Seascape landscape painting. Everyone will take home his or her finished artwork! Michael will be demonstrating and teaching using oil paints, however, other painting mediums are welcome. All painting levels welcome.
A recommended art materials and supply list will be provided upon registration.
This is a grant funded program and is part of a new collaboration between LOCA Arts Education and Laguna Plein Air Painters Association.
