Beginning Calligraphy and Watercolor Flowers with Judith Haron

Two Day Workshop: Consecutive Wednesdays, January 17 and 24, 2024 from 1:00 – 4:00pm
Join award-winning Festival of Arts artist Judith Haron for a fun-filled 2 day Floral and Italic Calligraphy class.
Create your own watercolor floral design with your favorite poem or saying. Learn as she guides students through the world of watercolor floral elements. Enjoy creating watercolor flowers for the sheer joy of it!
The class will begin by becoming familiar with the fundamentals of italic Calligraphy. Watercolor flower basics, including brush strokes
with wet into wet technique, and a bit of color theory.
Beginners welcome!
Please bring your favorite small saying or poem to use as a reference for the calligraphy portion of the project. Instruction, booklets, and supplies are included.
This is a two day class held in the Art Room of the Laguna Beach Community and Susi Q senior center on January 17 and 24, 2024
