Art in the Garden with Elizabeth McGhee

These classes will be held outdoors in a lovely Laguna Beach Garden.
Registrants will be notified of the address upon registration.

Week 1- Cheerful Poppies In Colored Pencil

Learn to render poppies in colored pencil, with special focus on translucent petals and leaves.  Using a step-by-step process, detail is made easy.  All materials will be provided.

Week 2- Draw Your Own Floral Arrangement

Try out the techniques learned from the previous week to compose, sketch, and render your own unique drawings.  Use the wonderful garden setting to inspire you, or use the provided floral arrangements to try out new compositions.  Materials will be provided, but optional materials may be brought by students to allow them more freedom to experiment.

All basic materials are provided. If you have these optional materials at home please bring them if you like.
Optional Materials: Prismacolor pencil set (any amount), white gel pen, toned paper or matt board, gouache paints, sketchbook, pens.
