Holiday Mixed Media, Japanese Kirigami and Card Making with Carolyn Machado and Mia Moore

One Day Workshop: Wednesday November 13, 2024 from 1:00 – 4:00pm

Join Carolyn Machado and Mia Moore, once again, for their two-part collage mixed media Holiday card making class.  Learn the art of Japanese Kirigami – the folding and cutting of decorative papers. Each student will create several floral and cloud-like images and cards for sending greetings. Using your own artist vision, artwork will be adorned and  embellished.

Carolyn and Mia will share a wide selection of unique papers and adornments they have collected over the years.

Get in the Holiday spirit and create keepsakes for friends and family. No experience necessary, all levels welcome. Please bring small scissors for cutting.

Fee: $25 for LOCA members / $50 for non-member

This class is held in the Art room of the Laguna Beach Community and Susi Q senior center and is sponsored by a grant from the Festival of Art Foundation.
