Artsgiving ~ LOCA’s Annual Member’s Brunch

October 20 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

LOCA invites everyone to Artsgiving, its annual brunch, art event, and festive membership gathering. A group art project, the Artsgiving Tree is available now for everyone regardless of attendance (see below).

Party-goers will feast on mimosas and a scrumptious homemade brunch buffet. Everyone will be fascinated by a lively paint-around performance by Hedy Buzan, Elizabeth McGhee, and Lisa Rainey, as they paint and pass canvases between themselves. The finished art will be up for bidding, along with other silent auction items from The Shops at Pottery Place, Forest Avenue Promenade, Rock Martin Jewelry, Art and Soul, and more.

Everyone will mingle with LOCA’s officers, board of directors, and teachers, and learn about upcoming classes and events. “Artsgiving is our board members way of giving thanks to our members for their support,” said Rich Fair, LOCA Vice President.

LOCA’s Artsgiving Tree group art project is now open and growing! The fundraiser is perfect for everyone attending, and those unable to attend, the brunch event. Names of all who donate will appear on individual ceramic leaves which will be hung on our centerpiece tree during Artsgiving. As a thank you from LOCA, all donors will be gifted their leaves, listed as contributors in our eNewsletter, and entered into our drawing to win a luxurious stay at The Resort at Pelican Hill, Newport Beach. The winner, announced upon close of the event, need not be present.

To add a leaf or branch, simply donate now through October 17. Suggested donations are: leaf $50 to $500, and branch $1,000. Names will automatically be added by LOCA.  To donate click here→ https://www.locaarts.org/sponsor-us/

Donations will also be accepted in-person during the Artsgiving event.

LOCA Arts Education is a non-profit organization and all proceeds will help LOCA provide free and low cost education to 1800 people annually to kids, teens, families and special needs people throughout our community.

Admission is free to new and renewing members, $30 for guests. Advance registration is required. 935 Laguna Canyon Road. Metered parking on the street.
